With Valentines day just around the corner, I thought this would be something easy and fun to do. Plus, it is a great way to keep your bouquet out of the trash! You will need Rose petals, water, saucepan, needle, and thread. 1. Gather petals and chop them as finely as you can. 2. Put them in a saucepan and barely cover with water. Heat for one hour but, do not let the water reach a boil(very important). 3. Repeat this step for one hour a day for three or four days, adding more water if necessary. 4. When the petals have attained a clay-like consistency place them in a colander and press out as much water as you can. 5. Use your fingers to roll the pulp into balls, start big because they will shrink as they dry. 6. When they are fairly dry stick them onto a needle or you can use a thick wire or metal hanger to make the hole. If you leave them on the wire to dry turn them often so they do not stick. 7. When they are dry you can use them for crafts or a necklace! Good luck and Happy Valentines Day!
